IELTS exam in Poland – October 2008 (General Training)

I would like to thank P. from Poland for sending me this short story about his General IELTS exam. Here’s what he says:

“I was surprised that we didn’t have any brakes between the listening, reading and writing. I was exhausted after all.

Writing

Task1 (Letter)
Unfortunately P couldn’t remember the topic for the letter

Task 2 (Essay)
People try new dangerous sports such as sky diving or climbing. Should this sports be prohibited?

Speaking

  • The advantages and disadvantages of your home town
  • Tell me about your teachers, whether or not they were strict, have they influenced you in any way.
  • What is the best place to listen to the music, where people go to listen to the music, etc.
