– Introduce yourself, please.
– Describe the area where you live.
– Would you recommend that residential area or not? Why?
– Do you like shopping? Why?
– How often do you go shopping?
– Why do people like to go shopping?
– Do you think the way that people choose fashions nowadays differs from past? In what ways?
– On which occasion in your country people send or give flowers to each other?

Cue card

Talk about a journey you would like to go on with your friends, please say:
– where you would like to go,
– how you would go there,
– why you would like to go there.

Discussion

– For what reasons do people take trips?
– What is the difference between long and short journeys?
– What is the difference between taking a trip with friends compared to a trip with family members?
– Do you think media or TV can change your decision about a destination for a trip?
– Are you going to go on a vacation during Nowrooz (the traditional Iranian festival)?
– Where would you like to go and why?

IELTS test in Australia – March 2010 (General Training)

IELTS test in Australia was share by S, K and A, and here is what they collectively remembered:

Listening test

Section 1. About women’s organizations.
Section 2. About an art gallery and its map showing all the rooms.
Section 3. About second hand furniture.
Section 4. About Indian women.

Reading test

No one managed to remember the topics.

Writing test

Writing Task 1 (a letter)
You would like to work for a company abroad. Write a letter to an employment agency, saying:
– what kind of company you want to work for,
– why you want to work there and why,
– why you want to work abroad.

Writing task 2 (an essay)
More and more people are wearing fashionable clothes. Is this a positive or negative development? Give reasons to support your answer.

– How much time do you spend watching TV?
– What kind of programs do you watch when you want to relax?
