Our lovely student FN recently took the IELTS test in Germany. Here are the Speaking questions he remembered:
Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– What is your name?
– Where are you from?
– Do you enjoy taking photographs?
– What do you usually take photos of?
– Do you prefer taking pictures of people or places? Why?
– Do you like looking at old photographs?
– Have you ever taken a photography class?
– Do you enjoy watching movies at home or in the cinema? Why?
– What kind of movies do you like best?
– Do you often go to the cinema with your friends or family?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a person you know who helps the environment. You should say:
– who this person is
– how you met him/her
– what he/she does to help the environment
and explain how you feel about the actions of this person.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Why do you think some people care about the environment while others don’t?
– What are some practical ways individuals can protect the environment?
– Do you think schools should teach students how to help the environment?
– What role should governments play in environmental protection?
