Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a bar graph showing the hours spent on domestic chores at three time points, broken down by gender and whether the person was in full or part time employment or unemployed. We had to summarise and describe it.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Some people think parents are responsible for transporting their children to school. Others think it is the government’s responsibility. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Speaking test

Interview

– Do you work or study?
– What do you do?
– Describe your hometown, please.
– What time do you have your meals usually?
– Have your eating habits changed since you were a child?
– Why do you think it is so?

Talk about a traditional product from your country. Please say

Discussion

Further discussion on the importance of traditional customs and who is responsible for upholding them.

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You have a neighbor who is often burning rubbish at their house. Write a complaint about it to the local council and say

– What is happening?
– How is your family harmed by that?
– What could be the solution, in your opinion?

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some people think that several short holidays from school are better, while others think one long summer holiday for the year is better for children. Discuss and include your own opinion and relevant examples from your experience.
