Reading test

Passage 1. About rental accommodations. There were four different types of accommodations.

Passage 2. About the process of hiring teachers.

Passage 3. About use of the internet at an educational institute.

Passage 4. The history of navigation.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You are leaving the country to return to your home country, and you have furniture that you want to give to a friend. Write a letter to him/her and say

– What furniture do you have?
– Why would he/she like it?
– How can he/she pick it up?

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Science could help people live up to 100 or even 200 years. Would that be a good or a bad development? Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Section 2. New employees were given a speech on the first day (induction program).

Section 3. Foreign students were discussing with their teacher a new course, which they should join during the semester.

Passage 1. About the initial world exploration and seafood.

Passage 2. A research on monkeys’ behaviour, in particular on what they do in different alarming situations.

We were given a bar graph showing the power consumption of 5 different countries in 5 different years. We had to compare it in our report.
