Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– What is your name?
– Where are you from?
– Would you like to continue living there in the future? Why or why not?
– Do you think your hometown is a good place for young people?
– Do you have a mirror in your room?
– Is a mirror necessary in people’s rooms? Why or why not?
– How often do you use a mirror in your daily life?
– What would people do if they didn’t have mirrors?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Describe an interesting activity that takes place regularly in your city/town. You should say:

– what the activity is
– when and where it happens
– who takes part in it

and explain why you find this activity interesting.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– What are the main differences between rural and urban areas?
– Why do some people prefer living in rural areas?
– What challenges do people face in villages?
– Should rural areas be developed more and why?
– Do you think young people are moving away from villages? Why?
– What can governments do to improve life in rural areas?
