Our friends took IELTS in the UK and India and remembered the Reading, Writing and Speaking questions (which were identical in these two countries):

Passage 1. About the Chinese language and culture.

Passage 2. A discussion about employment of older and younger people.

Passage 3. A research about animals and their ability to sense natural disasters.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a floor plan of two theaters, in 2003 and after their renovation in 2008. We had to compare and describe the changes.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

The funds for postgraduate research are limited, therefore some people think that financial support from the government should be provided. However, only scientific research should be funded, rather than other, less useful subjects. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Describe a family that you like (not your own). Please say
