I am glad that you made it here. This is a place where you can find all the help you need to prepare for IELTS test by yourself. Yes, you could actually do it, and I am a living proof to that.

This blog is something I desperately needed while studying to my IELTS exam. I hope that it will make your life a little easier by supplying you with tips, links and advice, all put together in one place. I will tell you here about the problems I had preparing for IELTS, and maybe that will keep you from repeating my mistakes.

English is not my first language. That’s why I had to take the IELTS test, just like you had to. When I started to search for info on the net, it took me forever to find, compare and test on myself different techniques and tips. I made every mistake I could make because I just couldn’t find any friendly help on my level.

To tell you the truth, official sites looked a bit scary and full of words I only partially understood. The problem with all the books and courses I tried was, that they were written by native English speakers - that’s why they have no idea what difficulties has a person who wasn’t born into English.

My IELTS test was a success and my dream is becoming a reality. But even now, when my IELTS preparation is over, I haven’t forgotten all the problems and difficulties I once had. I use that knowledge and techniques I developed to prepare my students for IELTS exam. We invite you to come and study with us. The whole idea of IELTS-blog is to remind you that you’re not alone, to share knowledge and experience and to help each other to improve our English.
