Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Where do you currently live?
– What do you like most about your place of residence?
– Would you like to move to a different place in the future? Why or why not?
– Are you interested in space or astronomy?
– Have you ever looked through a telescope?
– Do you think it’s important to learn about stars and planets?
– Do you always carry your keys with you?
– Have you ever lost your keys or been locked out?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a skill you taught to someone. You should say:
– what the skill was
– who you taught it to
– how you taught it
and explain how you felt about teaching this skill.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– What kind of things can younger people teach the older generation?
– Do you think learning by observing is more effective than learning through instruction?
– Can anyone learn any skill they set their mind to?
– Why do some people struggle to learn new things?
– What makes a good teacher in your opinion?
– Do you think technology has made it easier for people to teach and learn?
