Part 1 (Interview)
– Do you like listening to music?
– What kind of music do you enjoy most?
– When do you usually listen to music?
– Did you listen to a lot of music when you were a child?
– Have your tastes in music changed over time?
– Do you prefer listening to live music or recorded music?
– Have you ever been to a live concert?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a line (or a few words) that you remember from a poem or song. You should say:
– what it is
– which song or poem it is from
– how you knew it
and explain how you feel about it
Part 3 (Discussion)
– What can people learn from songs or poems?
– Do you think it is easier for children to learn a song or poem than adults? Why?
– Do you think children enjoy the rhythm of songs or poems? Why?
– Are you good at memorising things?
– How can memorising songs or poems benefit students?
– Why do some people find it difficult to memorise information?
