Speaking test
Part 1 (Interview)
– Can you describe the area where you currently live?
– Do you enjoy listening to music?
– What kind of music do you like the most?
– Have you ever been to a live concert?
– Do you play any musical instruments?
– Who is your favourite musician or singer?
– How often do you listen to music?
– Do you prefer international or local music? Why?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a place you visited where the air was polluted. You should say:
– where the place was
– when you visited it
– why the air was not good
– and explain how you felt about the place.
Part 3 (Discussion)
– Are coastal cities more or less polluted than inland cities? Why?
– Why do you think cities tend to be more polluted than rural areas?
– What should governments do to help reduce pollution?
– What actions can individuals take to reduce pollution?
– How can technology help reduce environmental pollution?
– Do you think pollution will get better or worse in the future?
