Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– What is your name?
– What should I call you?
– Do you work or study?
– Do you live in a busy or a quiet area?
– What are some of the good things about the area where you live?
– What did you find exciting in your childhood?
– What excites you now?
– Have you ever bought something that excited you?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Describe someone you know who buys things at a lower price. You should say:

– who this person is
– how you know him/her
– how he/she manages to find things at a lower price

and explain why he/she likes to buy things for less.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– Do you think it’s better to shop at street markets or proper shops?
– What should customers be cautious of when shopping online?
– How important is the way items are displayed in a shop?
– Do you believe reputation is important for a business?
– How has online shopping changed people’s purchasing habits?
– Should businesses prioritise low prices or high-quality products?
