Reading test

Passage 1. About the invention of telegraph.

Passage 2. About linguistic developments in the brain of an infant in comparison to adult’s brain in different cultures.

Passage 3. About ancient time beads trading, jewellery making and new consumerism based on prestige.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a table showing the percentage of women holding positions in the government and management in 5 countries in 2000.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

It is more important for school children to learn about their local history than the world history. Do you agree or disagree? Give your opinion and examples.
