Speaking test

Part 1 (Interview)

– Where have you lived in the past 5 years?
– What kind of a house do you live in?
– What kind of a job do you expect to be doing in the next five years?
– Did you have a memorable childhood?
– What did you enjoy most in your childhood?
– At your current age, what have you learnt about life?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Talk about a place where you usually go to relax. You should say

– what place it is and where it is located
– when you go there
– what you do there

and explain why you like going there to relax.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– Why are companies investing in health and fitness of their employees?
– Is exercise the only way to relax?
– Can using the internet help you relax?
– What do you think is more important, public health or the economy of a country?
– Do you think governments should prioritise investing in public health over their economies?
– What are the benefits of investing in public health?

Part 1 (Interview)

– Do you work or study?
– Where do you work?
– How do you get to work?
– Do you prefer walking or taking public transportation to work?
– Do you like chatting?
– Do you prefer to chat with a group of friends or just one friend?
– Do you like to chat face to face or online?
– Do you usually run?
– Is running important?
– When was the last time you ran?

Part 2 (Cue Card)

Talk about a friend of yours who learnt your language. You should say

– who he/she is
– where he/she is from
– how he/she learnt your language

and explain how you feel about him/her.

Part 3 (Discussion)

– Is learning languages important?
– Is it easier to learn new languages in childhood or adulthood?
– Is it easier to learn languages now than in the past?
– How does the modern technology help language learners?
– What language would you like to learn in the future?
– Can old people learn a new language or it is too late for them?
