Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You have recently completed a course in college and liked the lessons given by a particular teacher. Write a letter to him/her and say

Nowadays in many families the grandparents are responsible for bringing up children. Is it a good or bad development for grandparents? Give your own opinion and examples.

We were given a line graph showing the number of new houses constructed in the UK between 1995 to 2015, and also a prediction for 2017. Types of houses were given as well.
