Update from Academic IELTS exam, London

Listening

1) An easy part about museums
2) Work application form
3) Something about human resources/economics.

Reading

Very complicated even comparing to Cambridge samples.
1) About transport
2) Tissue reconstruction surgery and third I forgot.

A lot questions: T, F, N/G. Anyway, it was the hardest, make sure you practice for it.

Writing

Task 1
Very easy table (not even a line graph) in regards to the money donations for the old buildings reconstruction.

Task 2
Essay: Some people think that a private medicine is better for your health. Others say that healthcare should be free of charge and government-based. Discuss, what is your opinion.

Speaking

Interview
General questions about name, etc.

Little speech
A card about place/town I recently visited. Would I like to come back there? When? Why?
I was speaking to some other people about their cards:
National Costume, Shopping Habits, Learning Foreign Language(not English).

Discussion
Do you think it’s better live in county/town?
What differs people from cities to those who live in the country? Their characters?
What make a small town become a megapolis?

This report came from Natalie – many thanks!
