Writing task 1 (a letter)

You stayed in a hotel recently and forgot a few things that are important to you in the hotel room. Write a letter to the hotel manager and say

– Describe the items that you left.
– Where did you leave them?
– What would you like the manager to do with these items?

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some people think that younger generations are becoming less and less polite. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give your opinion and examples.

– Can I see your ID?
– Where are you from?
– Do you work or study?
– Do you like studying science subjects?
– Do you like riding a bicycle?
– Do people in your country prefer to ride a bicycle?
– What is your favourite room at home?
– Do you plan to make some changes there?
– What changes would you make?

Cue Card 1

Talk about a sport that you tried for the first time. Please say

– What is it?
– When and where did you try it?
– What do you think about it now?

Talk about a difficult decision that you made in your life. Please say

– What is it?
– When did you make it?
– What do you think about it now?

Discussion

– Was it hard to make this decision?
– Do you usually ask for help before making a decision?
