Reading test

Passage 1. About a plant on the verge of extinction and the invention of scientists.

Passage 2. About the usage of boats during ancient times in a coastal region. Also about the discovery of submersed areas in the sea, as an evidence and warning for future generations about the rising sea level.

Passage 3. About Snell’s law, a formula that describes the relationship between the angles of incidence and refraction when passing through a boundary between two different isotropic media, such as water, glass or air.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a table comparing the different age groups’ consumption of ordinary milk and butter and low fat milk and butter in one European country.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays children spend a lots of time watching TV and playing computer games. However, it does not help in improving children’s mental abilities. Do you agree or disagree?
