Our Indian friend M shared the details of a recent IELTS exam. M didn’t remember the listening or the reading topics, but had a good recollection of the Writing and Speaking:
Writing test 
Writing task 1 (a letter)
Write a letter to the bus company, to express the appreciation of the good service that you received from them recently.
Writing Task 2 (an essay)
Some believe that an easier hobby is more beneficial than a difficult hobby. Discuss.
Speaking test
Interview
- Describe your city.
- Is it good for younger generation to live in your city? Why?
Cue Card
Talk about foreign music that you heard. Please say
- What type of music was it?
- How has it influenced you?
- Does music play an important role in our society?
Discussion
- What type of music do people in your country prefer?
- Do you think the taste in music changes with age?

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Vishal from Edgecliff, Sydney. I have recently travelled from Sydney to Melbourne with your bus company. I am writing this letter to appraise you with my experience during the journey.
First of all, I am regular user of your reputed bus service company since last 15 years. Freshly, I travelled from Sydney. I was pleased by driver when he welcomed all of us with gentle smile. Moreover, bus was in meant condition where temperature was rightly set to 25 degree Celsius and there was no sign of dirt at all.
Secondly, my entire itinerary was comfortable and peaceful as a result of constant and maintained driving speed. [Extra Start] There was not even a single hiccup. [/Extra End] I reached to destination on scheduled time. Till now, I haven’t faced even a single problem with your facility. I must say that ticket prices are reasonable and services are superior. Last but not least, I am highly satisfied with your professionalism.
I pen down by thanking you once again for the wonderful experience I had while travelling from Sydney to Melbourne with your fabulous tour agency.
