Our friend S took the IELTS test in India and remembered the following details:

Section 1. A conversation about an art learning program.
Questions: filling in blanks, multiple choice.

Section 2. About a company called Willow.
Questions: filling in blanks, multiple choice.

Section 3. A conversation between students and tutor about business study.
Questions: multiple choice, match headings to paragraphs.

Section 4. An article about crocodiles.
Questions: filling in blanks.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You have recently been on a business trip and faced some problem at the airport. Write a letter to the airport manager and say:

– Give your flight details.
– What was the problem you faced?
– Suggest some improvements for the future.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some people believe that subjects such as art, music, drama and creative writing have a bright future. Therefore, schools should spend more time teaching these subjects. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
