Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a bar chart showing information about music events attendance by six different age groups in Australia in 2006. We had to summarise it.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays environmental problems are too big for individual countries or people to solve. We have reached stages where we need a cooperation on an international level to protect the environment. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You recently saw a job advertisement for a tour guide, to show your local area and its attractions to English-speaking tourists. Write a letter to a tourist agency and say
– Where did you see this advertisement?
– Explain why you are suitable for this job.
– Suggest how to improve your local area to attract more tourists.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

In some countries students spends about 5 hours a day in school, in other countries they study even less. Does short school day have more advantages or disadvantages? Discuss.
