IELTS Results competition winners in January 2015

Ever heard of the proverb “A good beginning is half the battle”? It means that a good beginning is very important and if you keep moving in the right direction, your chances of success are great. Today we would like to congratulate 14 IELTS test takers who had a very good beginning to 2015. Their year started with a Band 7.5, 8 or 8.5 which made them the envy of their friends, and the pride of their families.

IELTS test in Pakistan – January 2015 (Academic Module)

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given two graphs, one was showing males and females who had driving licenses between 1996 and 2006, and the other graph was showing the percentage of people 17-20 years of age who had their driving licenses during this period.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Some people think that the government should fund music, dance and arts lessons for children. Others think that they should be funded by private businesses or by children’s families. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
