IELTS test in Australia and Vietnam – December 2013 (Academic Module)

IELTS test takers M and C (thank you!) shared the following questions from a recent exam, which was the same in Australia and Vietnam:

Section 3. A conversation between two students about a project they have to plan at the university.

Section 4. A lecture about relationships of transport and business from 1940s to 1990s.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a pie chart showing the consumption of bottled water in 1991 in different regions of the word, and a bar graph showing the increase in consumption of bottled water in certain areas between 1991 and 2001.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

In many countries, young people are moving from rural areas to cities to work or study. Why is this happening? What are advantages or disadvantages of this trend?
