Section 1. A person was talking to a representative about the facilities that should be improved in the community.

Section 2. New employees were given a speech on the first day (induction program).

Section 3. Foreign students were discussing with their teacher a new course, which they should join during the semester.

Section 4. A scientist described his research on two groups of animals.

Reading test

Passage 1. About the initial world exploration and seafood.

Passage 2. A research on monkeys’ behaviour, in particular on what they do in different alarming situations.

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a bar graph showing the power consumption of 5 different countries in 5 different years. We had to compare it in our report.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

These days due to advancement in computers and technology, the trend of working or studying from home is increasing. Do you think it will become common and people will stop going to schools and offices in the future?
