Discussion

Listening testIELTS test in the UK

Section 1. A patient was talking to a receptionist.
Questions: filling in blanks.

Section 2. Conversation between two students regarding university studies.
Questions: filling in blanks, short-answer questions (no more than 3 words), multiple choice.

Section 3. Don’t remember.

Section 4. The speaker talked about information technology.
Questions: filling in blanks.

Reading test

Passage 1. About dolphins and their behavior.

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a table showing spending habits of UK families on six categories such as food, shelter, leisure and so on, in the period from 1988 to 2002.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Some say that students should concentrate only on the subjects that they like. Others suggest that they should focus on all school subjects. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
