IELTS Results competition winners in October 2010

Today I am proud to announce the winners of the IELTS results competition in October – all 6 of them! There were quite a few people who did really well in their General Training exams, as you can see:

General Training Module – 1st place

  • Krishnamurthy Tilak from India, Band 8.5
  • Sharma Ramya from India, Band 8.5
  • Dighe Ashish Mahendra from India, Band 8.5

Academic Module – 1st place

  • Do Thu Trang from Vietnam, Band 8.0

Academic Module – 2nd place

  • Chavan Kedar from India, Band 7.5
  • Widyawati Luluk from Indonesia, Band 7.5

How did they do it? Good question! I hope to receive the answer from our winners. All I know so far is that

1. All of them used IELTS-Blog.com at some stage in their preparation

2. Kedar Chavan used the e-book ‘Target Band 7’

3. Tilak Krishnamurthy was inspired by other high scorers who won in our monthly competition 🙂 – well, look at you now, Tilak, right there in the IELTS Results Hall Of Fame!

To congratulate the winners properly I am arranging for their special certificates to be sent via email, and their results will be displayed here.

We would love it if you, dear winners, shared your methods of studying that enabled you to achieve these remarkable Band Scores. Please send me an email to simone[at]IELTS-Blog.com and share.
