IELTS test in France – December 2009 (Academic Module)
IELTS test in France was shared by our kind friend M., who remembered the following topics and questions:
Listening test
Section 1: Booking of a hotel with different facilities.
Section 2: Employee selection and how it’s done.
Section 3: Plants and how children care for them.
Questions: Filling in the blanks, Multiple choice questions (Options A, B, C).
Section 4: Don’t remember.
Reading test
Passage 1: Chocolate and its evolution.
Passage 2: Nest-making by birds.
Passage 3: The importance of parks and the changes they go through.
Writing test
Writing task 1
There were 3 line graphs about changes in different crime categories in England and Wales, namely in car theft, house robbery, and petty offense.
Writing task 2
Some people think that it is better for university students to stay away from home rather than to study while living at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Speaking test
Interview
- What is your name?
- Describe the place where you live.
- Have you lived there long?
- What is your profession?
- Why did you choose it?
- What hobbies do you have?
Cue card
Talk about a sport you know and like, you should say:
- What kind of sport is it?
- Where did you learn about it from?
- Why do you like it?
Discussion
- What is the importance of sport?
- What are the differences between sport as a career and sport as a hobby?
- How does sport affect the amount of time spent with family?
- What is the influence of sport on advertisement?

1. What is your biggest problem in the IELTS preparation?
Time management might be the biggest problem in Ielts preparation. It is important to balance the efficiency and accuracy either in reading and writing.
2. Why do you need to take the IELTS test?
In Australia, the skilled worker registration require 7 in each conponement .
3. What Band Score do you need to get and in what module (Academic / General)?
Academic 7 in each section
Academic 8 for further study

1)My biggest problem is Writing section. My main weakest of English is problem in writing a sentences. My schools teacher always said that many of many writing sentences make no sense
2)I want to enter to pharmacy in Curtin. The condition for me allow to enter pharmacy is score minimum overall of 6.5
3)I need 7.0 in Academic module

1.My biggest problem is to get a appropriate instructor/course.
2.To get a registration in UK.And to work there later.And I really want to improve my English anyway.

1. My biggest problem in writing sction.150+250 words is lot for me

1-My biggest problem is the writing section and to understand the tips of it.
2-I have to take it for higher education and to complete my study.
3-I need to get score 6 in each part and overall score 6.
